Executive Summary

Edensol is a revolutionary gaming metaverse that combines fun packed action with the use of groundbreaking NFTs (non fungible token) Solana technology. Players can win in-game rewards in NSOL tokens (play-to-earn gaming), and win or purchase in-game tools and characters represented by collectible and rare NFTs, all of which have economic value in the real world.

Edensol combines the best features of games like Path of Exile, and Diablo 3 to offer players unprecedented play-to-earn features and the widest array of special gear NFT upgrades. Players can choose among three unique Hero characters: Warriors, Rangers, and Mages, each with special strengths and weaknesses. Each Hero engages in a unique quest to hunt for monsters in story mode, or alternatively directly challenge other players in one-to-one battles for ultimate supremacy. Edensol’s landscapes, characters and their ranking, and storylines make for a highly engaging and addictive gameplay with a potentially global user base.

Edensol is entering the Blockchain gaming space at a very positive time for the niche and for the NFT market:

  • Sales volumes of NFTs surged to $10.7 billion in Q3 2021, up more than 700% from the previous quarter.
  • Axie Infinity, a popular crypto-based metaverse game, reached a $34 billion fully diluted market cap in October 2021.
  • Gaming startup Animoca Brands raised at a $2.2 billion valuation in October 2021 to develop a series of NFT games.

Edensol aims to emulate the success of these brands by offering an addictive gameplay, a wide range of valuable NFT assets, and a gaming ecosystem with significant ambitions.

The NFT Gaming Revolution

The entire world of gaming revolves around the ability to purchase extra tools/add-ons to gain a performance edge over players. Many of the most popular and successful games and Metaverses offer players in-game assets and in-game currencies, including Second Life, World of Warcraft, and Minecraft.

However, although they can be purchased for money, these assets hold zero real value outside of the game. This poses a series of challenges:

  • The best players cannot monetise their skills.
  • In-game assets cannot be sold once a player stops playing – making them worthless.
  • The games are isolated ecosystems that never connect to the real economy.

Edensol solves this problem by allowing players to maintain the ownership of all their in-game items and currency, thanks to tokenization. All the items in Edensol are Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), which can be earned during battles, or bought with the native currency of the Edensol economy – NSOL. When a user creates an in-game account, Edensol automatically creates and links a crypto wallet to that account, which is used to store NFTs, in addition to NSOL and any other crypto currency.

These NFTs are based on the Solana Blockchain, allowing items to be unique assets that have economic value outside of the game and can be transferred throughout the entire blockchain ecosystem. At any time, players can transfer all their in-game NFTs to their crypto wallets, and then sell them on decentralized marketplaces like OpenSea, Rarible or Venly. Players therefore achieved true ownership of their in-game items and can realise their value – for the first time ever.

Edensol: Main Characters & Gameplay Aspects

The Edensol gameplay is simple to understand, exciting, and fast-paced. The main characters of the game are:

Heroes – There are the main player characters, who lead quests, fight monsters, form clans, tame special pets, and can engage in one-on-one battles with other Heroes to win special rewards. Heroes belong to one of three categories:

  • Warriors – Warriors are renowned for their physical prowess and endurance.
  • Rangers – Rangers are characterised by their unrivalled agility and cunning.
  • Mages – Mages use their superior mental powers to win battles and complete quests.

Each Hero is an NFT character, whose value depends on its level of personalisation (amount of battle Gear owned, special cosmetic characteristics, number of types of pets owned, etc.).

Monsters – Heroes fight monsters to win rewards and additional items to become stronger in battle. They have special powers and are hunted and defeated by Heroes, who use a variety of different tools (“Gear”) – fireballs, traps, special weapons, magic spells, and more, depending on the character. Heroes earn rewards and win quests by capturing the rarest and strongest ones, in competition with other Heroes. The more difficult the monster is to capture, the bigger the reward for the hero. For the highest level monsters, heroes need special NFT gear to capture them, which they can purchase with NSOL tokens.

Pets – Heroes can farm pets to help them fight monsters during battles. By farming pets with special characteristics, and with frequent battles, Heroes can create unique fighter-pet combinations that win battles and make the Hero and Pet NFTs more valuable.which they can purchase with NSOL tokens.

Edensol: Main Game Elements

The main gameplay elements of Edensol are constituted by Battles, Skills, Gear, and Player Characters.

Battles – Battles take place on a 2D plane from a first person perspective. The Hero faces a set of Monsters who unleash an immediate attack. The player then chooses which Monsters to fight first, what skills to use, and how to time the attacks. Heroes can also battle one-on-one against other Heroes, to establish dominance and ranking within the game. The strength of the Hero depends on the experience level, amount of battle Gear owned, number of types of Pets owned and other special cosmetic characteristics. Heroes with higher rankings can then fight stronger monsters, unlock higher reward tiers, and achieve higher NFT valuations for their character.

Skills – Each player equips a Hero with a number of skills to be used in battle against Monsters, adding a layer of strategic depth to the game. These skills will either weaken Monsters, poison them, or alternatively help a Hero regain strength and heal. Each skill has its own requirements and a cooldown period, which prevents the player from using them repeatedly during a single battle. Monsters also possess skills they can use, although to a much lesser extent than Heroes.

Gear – Gear represents all the arsenal of battle tools that Heroes can use to fight Monsters, farm the strongest NFT pets, and win battles against other Heroes. When Monsters are defeated, they drop gear items which then can be picked up and used by players to boost their game stats.

There are two types of gear: common and uncommon. Common gear items are easy to obtain and are dropped relatively often. Uncommon gear items belong to different groups. They are NFTs that can be won during battles, traded between players, or bought with NSOL from the Edensol in-game shop. These are dropped less often and are more rarely found. The rarer they are, the stronger they boost a player’s game stats, with each item belonging to a rarity tier.

Gear Item Categories

All in-game gear items belong to special categories. Except for a few notable exceptions, players can equip Heroes with only one item per category at any given time. The gear item categories are:

  • Main hand
  • Off hand
  • Helmet
  • Body armor
  • Leg armor
  • Gloves
  • Boots
  • Belt
  • Rings

Gear Item Levels

Every time a player wins a battle, the gear items used become stronger and more valuable. Each item will have a maximum strength level that it can achieve, after which the player has to replace it in order to fight stronger Monsters. Higher level items will have specific requirements the player must meet in order to use. Players with lower rankings will therefore not be able to use high-level gear items.

Gear Item Modifications

Uncommon items can be modified by the player to add new abilities and effects. Players can also increase a gear item’s strength level without fighting monsters.

Gear Item Enchantment

Players can enchant gear items to make them stronger by paying a fee in NSOL tokens. Enchanting an item also adds additional effects to it. Each item can have only one enchantment, which the player can replace with other ones at will. This can be done up to a maximum of seven times, with the fee increasing each time.

Gear Item Mining

When gear items are dropped during battle, they are not immediately available as NFTs. Players can choose to mint them as NFTs for a small fee payable in NSOL tokens. Minted items have a slightly different UI compared to non-minted ones.

Ultra-Rare Gear Items

Edensol will feature a limited amount of ultra rare gear items with completely unique artistic features and effects. These items are neither craftable or mintable, but can be earned as rewards or bought from other players. In the future, players will be able to trade these NFTs on secondary marketplaces, such as Opensea.io.

Player Characters

To play Edensol, each player needs a character token. Character tokens allow players to equip Heroes with items and progress through the game. They can be bought from other players with NSOL tokens or summoned using a summoning stone.

Player Game Stats

Just like gear items, characters have a number of energy levels that measure how much they possess of each special ability. These energy levels include:

  • Strength – Measures strength-based skills and weapons.
  • Dexterity – Measures dexterity-based skills and weapons.
  • Intelligence – Measures intelligence-based skills and weapons.
  • Health Points – Health points determine the player’s life levels and damage taken.
  • Mana – Used to cast spells and abilities.

Each player receives an equal amount of each energy level. The starting levels of some players will be higher than those of others, which will give them an advantage. These starting levels cannot be changed.

Each player character has a birthsign, which is randomly generated and cannot be removed or modified. They usually provide a positive bonus, but may in certain situations have a negative impact.

Experience Points and Leveling Up

With every Monster destroyed, a player character gains experience points (XP). Upon accumulating a certain amount of points, the character is able to level up. Leveling up a character grants it a certain quantity of energy that they freely distribute, making the character stronger and allowing it to equip itself with higher level weapons and gear.

If a player decides to summon a character instead of buying it from another player, they can do so by using a summoning stone. There is a finite number of these stones and they can only be used once. It is possible to get a summoning stone as a very rare drop. These stones will have different levels of rarity. The rarer the stone, the higher its value and the stronger the character it can summon. This determines the starting energy levels of the character and its birthsign.

When a character is summoned for the first time, its appearance (clothing, hair style, skin colour, etc.) is randomly generated. Its appearance has no impact on any character stats.

3rd party NFT integration

The game ecosystem will support numerous types of popular 3rd party NFTs that players might have, such as Bored Apes or Crypto Punks, to showcase users’ unique profile and NFT collections. After connecting their wallets, Edensol will recognize the NFTs and offer to equip them as medals. These medals do not add any in-game advantages in terms of stats, but appear next to the player’s avatar as decorative elements viewable by other players.

Experience Boost

Battling enemies by itself does not provide a player with a lot of experience, nor does it allow the player’s weapons to become stronger. To counteract this, each player is provided with numerous experience boosts each day. Winning a battle with an experience boost multiplies the XP points the player earns and boosts the gear item level. Boosts cannot be bought, accumulated, or traded, but are instead distributed for free each day.

Heroes can farm pets to help them fight monsters during battles. By farming pets with special characteristics, and with greater battle frequency, Heroes can create unique fighter-pet combinations that win battles and make the Hero and Pet NFTs more valuable.
Like monsters, each pet will have a set of skills and stats that they use during battles. The stats measure each pet’s HP, damage and armour, and determine the pet’s battle performance. The skills are launched automatically as soon as they have completed cooldown. The skills that the pet receives cannot be changed.

Eggs need to be purchased in order to acquire pets. Eggs are crystal structures that trap the spirit of a pet. These spirits hatch in a set amount of time displayed on the egg itself. By regularly checking on and “feeding” the egg the player charges it up. The higher the egg’s charge at the moment of hatching, the stronger the pet will hatch. The outcome of each individual egg is randomly determined, with a certain percentage of eggs becoming powerful battle pets. Players need to purchase eggs with NSOL tokens in a certain quantity to ensure they will raise a stable of strong and useful pets.

The game takes place in the Island of Ero – a magical island of dangerous creatures, hidden dangers, and mysterious treasures.

The world map will be divided into thousands of levels that are unlocked in sequence. This means that the player cannot start a new level without completing the previous one. Each part of the map will represent a distinct biome with unique visuals and monsters. Each biome will contain between 20 to 50 levels.

Guilds are player-made groups that work towards shared goals and share their winnings. Guilds have two main roles: leader and member. Any other roles can be created and assigned by the guild leader.

To create a guild, the leader needs to pay a registration fee in NSOL. This gives them a guild with 7 total free slots. Expanding the guild by another 7 requires another payment. Each expansion of 7 costs progressively more making larger guilds expensive to build.

There are three main things guilds do:

  • share their earnings and items between their members
  • occupy lands to generate passive income
  • participate in guild raids to fight for rare NFTs

Sharing earnings – Each guild can set their membership tax which gets deducted from the player each time they earn NSOL in the game. This can be either set for the entire guild, role or for each member individually and is controlled by the leader.

In exchange, the guild leader might provide their members with character tokens, gear and pets to make their progress quicker.

Land Wars – The entire gameworld of Edensol is divided into numerous pieces of land each of which can be conquered by a guild. Land generates passive NSOL for the guild.

To conquer the land the guild needs to be “parked” at that location. If another guild wants to take over the parked land, they need to defeat every guild member of that location in an asynchronous PvP battle.

A guild must have a minimum of 7 members to take over a piece of land. If they have more than that they can also attempt to conquer adjacent pieces of land increasing their passive income.

Guild Raids – Guild Raids are extremely difficult weekly dungeons that do not generate any NSOL rewards but award victorious guilds with unique NFTs. These dungeons reset every week and can only be completed once by a single guild. Their rewards are distributed on a first come – first serve basis where the first guilds receive the highest value gear while other subsequent runs get progressively cheaper items.

A raid consists of numerous preset levels with monsters and have to be completed in succession of one another. Each level will have to be defeated by a varying number of guild members for it to be completed and a new one unlocked. If the guild does not manage to complete the raid before the week runs out, it is considered lost and no rewards are given.

Participating in a raid costs NSOL that has to be paid out by the guild leader.

There will be different types of events the players will encounter as they travel the island of Ero and fight monsters. There are two types of events – local and global.

Local events happen during normal gameplay. As players start a level, the game will randomly create events. Some events will boost some of the player’s stats, while others will provide more complex challenges with the promise of higher rewards. There will also be events that allow the player to enter a secret hidden zone with a series of challenges that need to be cleared. These challenges may be harder or easier than the level the player is currently in.

Global events, on the other hand, occur simultaneously in the game at predetermined times and are announced in advance. These events involve specific types of gear drops in specific zones of the map. On the day of the event, the players will be notified that specific categories of items will be dropped in greater quantities in these zones. This will generate a greater sense of community among players and more variability in terms of gameplay levels.

Quests will appear on the player’s map once per day and will not refresh the next day unless they have been completed. Quests will most often require the player to either clear a specific zone a number of times or kill a certain number of specific Monsters. Completing a quest rewards the player with either experience points, gold coins, crafting materials, or a combination of these. There will be three quests available per day and all of them will provide the player with guaranteed rewards.

Each day a special quest will also be presented that will be significantly harder than the others, but will offer a greater overall reward. These special quests will generate a completely new location for the player to fight in that will only be available for the duration of the quest. After the quest is completed, the location disappears.

The arena allows players to battle it out against other Heroes instead of Monsters, in a Colosseum-type gladiatorial battle. As characters enter the arena, they are matched with other characters with similar levels of power. Winning players are rewarded with gold.

Arena bets

Players are allowed to bet on upcoming fights, which are announced one hour before they start. Both opponents, their gear, and their skill levels are visible to everyone, to allow for informed betting. Betting is done with NSOL tokens, with winning bets also paid in NSOL tokens.

The player can accumulate some passive income for each character they have by setting that character to guard the town. Each character can guard a position in Edensol for a chosen amount of time. The higher the overall stats of said character, the more rewards they can accumulate.

Endless Dungeon

The Endless Dungeon is a weekly event where players are able to enter a dungeon that has no end. Their goal is to go as deep into the dungeon as possible. Each deeper dungeon level provides the players with higher rewards. If the player dies in the dungeon, they have to start again from the beginning. Dungeons can only be exited once every five levels, and if the player dies before exiting, all of the loot they have accumulated is destroyed.

NSOL – The Currency of the Edensol Metaverse

NSOL is the native currency of the Edensol economy. Players can obtain NSOL tokens in three ways:

  • By exchanging them from other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Bitcoin, etc.
  • By winning in-game rewards in NSOL tokens (play-to-earn gaming) when they win battles against monsters or other players.
  • By winning bets on battle outcomes.

NSOL tokens can be used to purchase:

  • NFT Heroes – Players can buy multiple Hero NFTs from the in-game shop, initially in a limited quantity. Each character comes endowed with specific powers, specific energy levels and a default set of weapons. Armours and adornments need to be bought separately, or won during battles. A Hero NFT’s value depends on its level of personalisation (amount of gear owned, special cosmetic characteristics, number of types of pets owned, etc.). As the hero becomes stronger, its value increases.
  • NFT Gear. Gear represents all the arsenal of battle tools that Heroes can use to fight Monsters and win battles against other Heroes.
  • NFT Eggs or Pets. These can be already grown pets, which are more valuable, or a selection of eggs which can be farmed and raised into pets. Players can further improve the game-playing strength of pets via additional purchasable items, including high-speed growth foods, pet strength/health boosters, and more.
  • Energy Boosts. A battery pack which fully restores the character’s energy levels.
  • Loot Box. A box which includes a mystery item. It can be either a cosmetic/clothing item, or a brand new NFT character.
  • Tournament Tickets. Players can buy tickets which are used to participate in weekly tournaments.
  • Guilds – NSOL can be used to register or expand guilds, as well as to participate in guild raids. To register a guild, the player needs to pay a registration fee in NSOL. To grow a guild, the leader needs to buy more seats in it. To participate in the exclusive guild raids, the guild will need to pay an entrance fee.
  • NFT Marketplace. Players can use NSOL tokens to purchase NFTs from other players the Edensol marketplace. The prices of these NFTs will vary based on the value of their superpowers, their looks, their not-yet-unlocked potential, and rarity of their species. Crafted gear and cosmetic add-ons can also be bought and sold.

Edensol NFTs

Edensol NFTs are based on the Solana Blockchain, allowing items to be unique assets that have economic value outside of the game and can be transferred throughout the entire blockchain ecosystem.

At any time, players can transfer all their in-game NFTs to their crypto wallets, and then sell them on decentralized marketplaces like OpenSea, Rarible or Venly. Players therefore achieve true ownership of their in-game items and can realise their value – for the first time ever.

Edensol includes the following NFTs:

  • Heroes. Each Hero is an NFT character, whose value depends on its level of personalisation (amount of battle Gear owned, special cosmetic characteristics, number of types of pets owned, etc.). As the hero becomes stronger, its value increases.
  • Gear. All gear items are NFTs. Gear NFTs make the Heroes stronger, thus helping them to win battles Gear items include swords and axes, traps, fireballs, magic spells and battle outfits.
  • Eggs and Pets. Players can purchase eggs to breed and raise pets. Both eggs and pets are NFTs. The outcome of each individual egg is randomly determined, with a certain percentage of eggs becoming powerful battle pets. Players need to purchase eggs in a certain quantity to ensure they will raise a stable of strong and useful pets. Heroes can farm pets to help them fight monsters during battles. By farming pets with special characteristics, and with frequent battles, Heroes can create unique fighter-pet combinations that win battles and make the Hero and Pet NFTs more valuable

NFTs can be used by players to capture and increase their value in the following ways:

  • Players can own their characters as NFTs. Every upgrade of the Hero increases the NFT’s value.
  • Players can mint gear as NFTs once they become valuable. Powerful and rare gear has a higher NFT value, as it can improve the strength of the Hero.
  • Players can own NFT eggs and farm them to raise an army of Pets. Pets become stronger as they fight in battles, increasing the value of their NFTs.
  • Players can trade their NFTs – Heroes, Gear, Pets and more.

Why Solana: The Perfect Blockchain For NFT Gaming

Edensol has chosen the Solana Blockchain as the basis of its gaming architecture due its tangible advantages:

Solana can process more than 50,000 transactions per second (TPS). Developers say the transaction speed can reach 700,000 TPS as the network grows. This is a significant advantage over Ethereum, which currently processes between 15 and 45 TPS. Solana has so far been able to process over 24 billion transactions to date, significantly outpacing many of its major competitors:

Solana has an average cost per transaction of $0.00025, in some instances as low as $0.0001. This compares to $10-$65 on Ethereum, depending on network congestion.

Rising Scale Effects

Solana has grown its network to over 1,000 validators, with a blocktime below 1000 microseconds. It is estimated that Solana will be able to accommodate 710,000 transactions per second on a 1 gigabit network.

Traction in the Gaming World

Over 500 projects have been built on Solana so far, including successful metaverses and NFT games:

  • Afflarium – A multiplayer online metaverse, playable on VR, Desktop, and Mobile.
  • Aliens vs. People – A space fantasy war game featuring NFT characters.
  • Genopets – A role-playing game featuring NFT Genopets that can be trained and enhanced.

The SOL token is currently the 7th most valuable cryptocurrency in the world, with a market cap reaching over $60 billion USD in September 2021, up from the 42nd spot the previous February. Its value has surged by over 2,300% in 2021 to date.

Edensol & The Play-To-Earn Advantage

Edensol eliminates the stigma that games are a waste of money and time, by offering unprecedented features:

  • A very challenging gameplay, that requires players to exercise judgment, assess probabilities, take risks, and overall improve their skills over time via regular practice. Skill-based videogames are known to benefit player health in a multitude of ways.
  • The ability to earn large financial rewards by playing well. Players use their NFT characters, which have unique characteristics and powers, and boost their level (i.e. value) by playing against other players. By leveling up, their characters unlock new powers and the player earns cosmetic rewards that makes the characters more stylish and unique. Levelled up characters, based on their appearance and game performance, can then be sold in the market for a profit. The rewards can be significant: players of Ethereum-based Axie infinity have generated over $3.2 billion in NFT sales since 2019.
  • Players can earn rewards by betting NSOL tokens against other players one-on-one, or during regularly-held Edensol tournaments with sweepstakes. Players can bet both on themselves and on other players.
  • Becoming media stars by winning tournaments which are watched by audiences from around the world as recorded events or in real-time.

How Edensol Leverages The NFT and the Esports Boom

Edensol aims to become a leading eSports game worldwide. Monthly invitation-only tournaments will be organised, featuring the best Edensol players. During these tournaments, all matches will be streamed live on the mobile app, in addition to streaming services like Twitch. Spectators will be able to bet on the outcome of the matches, invest in players, and much more. Spectators can also attend tournaments live by buying match tickets from the in-game shop. Both eSports and NFTs are undergoing exponential growth:

The eSports Boom

The eSports market is expected to grow from $1.1 billion in global revenues in 2020 to almost $1.6 billion by 2023, an increase of 50%+ in only three years:

eSports are becoming a powerful magnet for hundreds of millions of spectators across the world. The global eSports audience is expected to skyrocket from 593 million in 2019 to 943 million by 2024.

Twitch, the world’s major platform video game live streaming, has grown to 140 million monthly users from 55 million in 2015. This figure is expected to top 187 million by 2023:

Major eSports games all generate significant revenues:

  • Dota 2, a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), is home to the most lucrative annual esports event (over $224.7 million awarded) and generates up to $400 million in annual revenues from player fees, tournament betting, and in-game “cosmetics” (player add-ons). There are an estimated 10 million monthly users.
  • League of Legends, a multiplayer real-time strategy action game popular in Asia, generated $1.75 billion in revenues in 2020. The World Championship in 2018 final was streamed by over 100 million viewers.
  • Overwatch, a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter game, has totalled more than $1 billion of in-game sales, almost only cosmetics, since launching in 2016.

NFTs Come Of Age

Non-Fungible tokens are a form of digital asset, whose ownership is recorded on Blockchain. Each NFT is unique, as it corresponds to a specific digital asset – be it an image, video, or an in-game tool. The NFT market has been dynamic recently, with the total value of NFTs rocketing to a new record high of $43 billion in October 2021.

Edensol brings unprecedented innovation to the gaming market by merging virtual gaming with NFTs. This is called by Bloomberg the place “where crypto, gaming and capitalism collide” and the next stage in the evolution of the gaming sector. The revenue-capacity of NFT games has proven to be significant:

  • Axie Infinity, one of the most popular NFT Metaverses, is on track to generating $2.7 billion in 2021, with an in-game currency with a market value of $9 billion.
  • Sandbox, an Ethereum-based NFT gaming platform, is generating NFT sales of over $3 million per day.
  • Parallel, a sci-fi card game based on the Ethereum blockchain, generated $105 million in NFT sales in August 2021.

Edensol merges in one game the utility and value of NFTs with the excitement and addictiveness of adventure-based gaming. And, with the addition of live spectators and tournament streaming, the game taps directly into the eSports boom.

Edensol Marketing Strategy

The Edensol team has elaborated a triple marketing strategy to guarantee the exponential growth of the Edensol platform worldwide:

Influencer Marketing

Influencer marketing is one of the fastest-growing niches of the internet marketing space. Spending on influencer advertising has risen from $1.7 billion in 2016 to an expected $13.8 billion in 2021.

Edensol views gaming influencers as playing a fundamental part in growing the platform’s user base rapidly. We have already selected a portfolio of top gaming influencers who have significant:

  • Followership
  • Reputation
  • Previous commercial success

To advertise and discuss the Edensol platform’s advantages and offer with their followers. Influencer marketing is considered a “soft” approach as it is not a direct sales pitch, but rather a discussion of the ins and outs of a determined product/service.

Major Gaming Environments

The gaming market is dominated by a series of so-called “AAA games” with a very significant following and base of regular players, including:

  • Fortnite – 250 million registered players
  • Apex Legends – 50 million registered accounts
  • FIFA 19- 45 million console players

The size and positioning of these games makes them therefore a clear target market for Edensol to penetrate. This is part of a broader strategy targeting all games with a daily active user base of >500k players. Edensol has carried out a thorough market research that has determined this user base cutoff as optimal because:

  • It is able to generate enough revenues in the long-term to justify the time and monetary investment needed to complete the penetration successfully.
  • The typology of player for this games falls within Edensol target user – a paying gamer with an interest in competition.
  • The presence of a large enough amount of players to jumpstart a successful, and cost-effective, referral marketing push between players who recommend the Edensol platform to each other and to gaming acquaintances.

Billionaire LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman’s book “Blitzscaling” details the importance of scaling fast for startups wanting to dominate a market. This strategy has proven its effectiveness over and over in powering the success of some of the world’s most valuable startups, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Dropbox, Snap, and Canva among others. Edensol fully intends to apply a blitzscaling approach to its market, by above all fostering the fastest rate of user growth via two channels:

Airdrop Rewards

Edensol is earmarking NSOL tokens for marketing, airdrops, and bounties. Edensol will use this funding to:

  1. It is able to generate enough revenues in the long-term to justify the time and monetary investment needed to complete the penetration successfully.
  2. Promote participation in one-on-one gameplay and engage pro gamers to help new users improve their skills.
  3. Start generating revenues via challenge winners spending token rewards within the Edensol ecosystem – be it in-game NFT purchases, or betting with other gamers.

A reward-based strategy is known to provide both excellent organic user growth and extremely low Customer Acquisitions Costs (CAC). Startup Dropbox boosted its user base from 100k to 3.9 million users in only 15 months with an analogous reward and referral-based system.

Sweepstake Rewards

A high number of paying gamers have a propensity to gamble and participate in games of chance. An estimated 36% of American paying gamers have gambled money at least once in the last 6 months, compared to only 12% of non-gamers. The figures for the UK are 51% and 32%, respectively. Edensol therefore offers the solution that combines both – lottery rewards for the gamers considered the so-called “Greatest Of All Time” (GOAT). GOAT rewards are bestowed on a weekly and monthly basis to teams and individuals who have achieved the most astounding gaming performances within a determined time frame.

In addition, paying gamers have a strong interest in tournaments and competitions – an estimated 25% of American paying gamers compete in online and offline tournaments against other gamers, compared to 5% of non-paying gamers. The proportion remains similar across other markets, with figures of 16% vs. 5% for the U.K., and 13% vs. 3% for Germany. Edensol’s Sweepstakes therefore nurture excitement in platform users and build brand loyalty, which boosts the user base size and in-game spending.

The main technologies used are the Unity game engine and the Zenject dependency injection framework. We cover the most fragile parts of our codebase with unit tests, and have cloud builds to ensure confidence in our business logic. To allow for possible shifts to different engines, extraction of a framework, faster testing and securing ourselves from limitations of the engine API, we use Unity as a presentation layer. We also employ a variant of MVC pattern to separate business logic from what the user sees. This allows us to write the major part of the project in pure C# instead of MonoBehaviours, and apply the best development practices.

Edensol has expanded the concept of gaming Metaverse beyond the scope of existing competitors. In addition to a gameplay with a deeper and richer character presence, Edensols use of NFT gaming allows for players to generate earnings and for NSOL token holders to generate yield. The merger of NFTs with gaming takes the Edensol experience to a new level, creating a Metaverse with “blue sky” growth prospects combined with serious potential earnings for its participants.
